Projekt "Halo?" to najnowsza produkcja Fundacji Zarzewie, i powołanego przez nią do istnienia Studia Kokyu. Studio, na co dzień działa przy wrocławskim Instytucie Grotowskiego. Jego główną domeną jest prowadzenie badań w duchu treningu aktorskiego.

Spektakl "Halo?" jest rodzajem zwieńczenia czy podsumowaniem blisko dwuletniego okresu badań i pracy studyjnej. W spektaklu nie używamy bogatej scenografii, ani nowych technologii. Sercem i jedynym medium tego teatru jest aktor ze swoimi umiejętnościami i mocą obecności. Dlatego tak istotnym elementem jest kostium. Kostiumy, zaprojektowane indywidualnie dla każdej z aktorek, są nie tylko ubraniem, ale także komunikatem, formą pamięci.

Autorka projektów jest Ala Savashevich - artystka pochodząca z Białorusi, absolwentka wydziału rzeźby wrocławskiej ASP. Projekt "Halo?" jest pytaniem o pamięć, o odpowiedzialność za znajomość historii i tworzenie przyszłości. Inspirowany książkami autorstwa  Eksteinsa Modrisa, Eda Vulliamiego, Swietlany Aleksijewicz, śledzi wiek XX jako nieskończony korowód wojny i przemocy, który dociera do XXI wieku w ostatnich akordach wojny na Bałkanach, by otworzyć nowe tysiąclecie koszmarem terroryzmu i wojny z terroryzmem.

Dla tego projektu potrzebujemy kostiumu, który będzie mówił razem z aktorkami. Musimy zebrać na ten cel 10000 zł - taki jest koszt 7 kostiumów i ich wykonania. prosimy was o pomoc w uzbieraniu tej kwoty, by spektakl mógł mówić jako kompletne dzieło. Nie mamy żadnego wsparcia finansowego, wszystko jak dotąd finansowaliśmy z prywatnej kieszeni. Teraz prosimy was, na ostatnim etapie pracy o pomoc i wsparcie. liczy się każda złotówka. W zamian możemy zaoferować wspólny trening, lekcje śpiewu, koncert, spotkanie - wszystko co potrafimy i na czym budujemy zespół Studia Kokyu. Z góry Wam bardzo dziękujemy.

‘Halo?’ is the Zarzewie Foundation’s latest production, created by Studio Kokyu. The studio was set up as part of the Foundation with the support of the Grotowski Institute in Wroclaw, Poland. Studio Kokyu’s raison d’être is to conduct research in the spirit of actor training.

‘Halo?’ is a kind of culmination of a period of research and study that has taken place over almost two years. In the performance we do not use elaboratescenography or any innovative, new technologies. The only medium – and theheart of – this theater is the actor: her skills and the power of her presence. In the absence of other scenography, costume becomes an even more important element. The costumes for this production, designed individually for each actor, are not only clothing, but also a message – a form of memory.

The costumes have been designed by Ala Savashevich – an artist from Belarus,who graduated in sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, Poland. Here are some examples of Ala’s projets (above).

 

‘Halo?’ is a performance and a question: about memory, responsibility for knowledge of our historical past and the creation of the future. Inspired by the writings of Eksteins Modris, Ed Vulliami and Svetlana Alexievich, it traces the path of the 20th century through an infinite procession of war and violence,reaching the 21st century with the final chords of the Balkan war still ringing in our ears and watching the new millennium open into a collective nightmare of terrorism and war on terror. 

For this project, we need costumes that will speak in concert with the actors. We must collect 10,000 zloty (app. €2,300/£2,070) for this purpose. This figure covers the making of 7 costumes. We would like to ask you for help in raising this amount of money, because it will make it possible for our performance tospeak as a complete work of art. We do not have any financial support: so far we have financed everything from our private resources. Now, at the final stage ofour work, we ask you for help and support – no matter how small, every zloty counts.

 

In return we can offer you a training session, singing lessons, a concert, a meeting – we offer everything we are skilled to do and on which we have builtthe Studio Kokyu team. Thank you in advance.
