In 2018, after a few years of break, Velesar returned to the Polish folk metal scene with new ideas, new energy, and above all with new album "Dziwadła" (the album was premiere in July 2019). The album, self-produced and released from beginning to end, was very warmly received among folk metal fans in Poland and abroad. But you know about all this because it was already... Now it's time to look to the future! We are pleased to announce that Velesar and great musicians working with him are preparing to record their second album - "Szczodre Gody"! But this time, your help will be needed... Of course, attractive rewards await Donors - including new album and Velesar's gadgets!

ABOUT BAND
WHO IS VELESAR?
Marcin Velesar Wieczorek
is a Polish vocalist, guitarist, composer and songwriter. He has been
inextricably connected with music since 1990. In 2001, he founded a
metal band Goddess of Sin in Rybnik, with which he performed until 2007.
In meantime, he participated in several other music projects, not
related to metal music. In 2010 he joined as a vocalist to polish folk
metal band Radogost (one of the precursors of folk metal music in
Poland), with which he toured until 2014. The result of this
collaboration is the album "Dark Side of the Forest" (2012), and a many
of concerts in Poland and abroad.

WHAT WILL THE CASH GO?
The full amount specified in the project will primarily finance costs of recording, mixing and mastering as well as release the album with its promotion. Unfortunately, all of them together are enormous costs that exceed our capabilities - especially in pandemic year (which has caused big problems for entire music industry). That is why every penny is important to us!
It is also possible that you will be so generous that the amount in our account will be greater than we assumed. In this case, we will use it to make a music video promoting new album.

WHAT WILL THE SECOND ALBUM BE?
You have to see for yourself ...;) As an encouragement, we publish the song "Swaćba" which you can also hear at concerts. The song was recorded during quarantine in a completely homemade way... :)
